Welcome to the Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House!

The Gaslamp Quarter Historical Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non profit, is dedicated to fostering the cultural, historical and architectural heritage of the Gaslamp Quarter. Through exhibits, tours, festivals and educational programs for children and adults, the Foundation opens a window to the past by depicting the historical development of downtown San Diego.

The Foundation operates the oldest standing residence in the Gaslamp Quarter, the Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House, a repository of artifacts, photographs and archives that we seek to preserve for residents and visitors from throughout the world.  Recognized as the “Curator of the Gaslamp,” the Foundation strives to maintain the integrity of the historic district and preserve its history and architecture.

The Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House is open Wednesday-Saturday 10am-4pm (last tours recommended 30 minutes prior to closing)

This year, the Davis-Horton House celebrates its 175th year!

Your support will help ensure this historic landmark continues to serve the community through educational programs, cultural events,
