Please see below for tour information.
The tour includes architecturally significant structures and the fascinating stories of the people and characters that shaped the Gaslamp from its beginnings to today. From William Heath Davis, who first attempted the building of “New Town,” to Alonzo Horton who came here in 1867 and finished the job, the cultural heritage of San Diego speaks through the buildings of a by-gone era that stand as testimony to its richness.
Tours typically last around 45 minutes.
Safety is our top priority. Due to this tour taking place on the streets of the Gaslamp there are variables not under our control, including how busy the streets and sidewalks of the Gaslamp are at a given time. Tour guides may change, shorten, or otherwise deviate from the tour route if the streets and sidewalks are deemed unsafe for the tour to proceed. We recommend booking walking tours in the morning for the best experience.
